East Hill Playhouse Dinner Reading Series

What is this, you ask?
Bob and Daphne host dinner readings at their house. We need
actors to volunteer to read the roles. We feed you instead of
pay you. Then, Daphne hosts a feedback session while Bob
does the dishes. We do this for both works-in-process and
published plays.

September
For September, we will be reading The Goat, or Who is Sylvia? by
Edward Albee.
If you are interested in reading a role in this play, please use
the Contact Us page to let us know your availability for a 3-hour
block in September.

Also, you are welcome to simply dine with us if you do not want
to read.
Mission

Afterdinner Theatre Productions is a theatrical arts
networking organization in Norcross, Georgia.
What We Do

  • Network with theatres, actors, directors,
    writers, and  theatre craftsmen to share
    resources and experiences.
  • Coach playwrights through the play
    development process.
  • Produce staged readings for work-in-progress
    plays.
  • Provide workshops for acting and improvisation.
